We are pleased to announce that Wayne, a highly regarded professional artist and former local tutor who has recently relocated to Wales, will be hosting an upcoming workshop for the Society. As many of you know, Wayne's workshops are exceptionally popular, and we are thrilled to have him back to share his expertise.
This workshop is scheduled to follow his live demonstration for the Society, which will take place on Thursday, 10th September.
Refreshments of tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided but please bring you own mug and lunch.
Materials required:
Please bring paper to draw on, pencils and charcoal.
You will need a surface to paint on - some oil painting paper will be available but you may like to bring a primed board or canvas.
There will be oil paint available for you to try with studio safe solvent and Liquin as a medium. We also have a small selection of brushes but bring some of your own if you have any. You are welcome to bring your own paints too.
You will need to bring something to use as a pallette - can be just a piece of smooth hardwood or even greaseproof paper taped to a piece of cardboard.
There are plenty of easels and drawing boards at the studio.
