Eligibility and Entries:

• Only full members are eligible to enter. 
• Please submit only one entry per month.
• An entry cannot be re-entered into another monthly competition until the following SAS year.
• The maximum number of winning entries per member is restricted to two during the 10-month competition period (September–November and January–July).

Prizes and Voting:

• There will be two winners each month, each receiving a £40 gift voucher for either Picturesque or Jacksons.
• A panel of judges will select the top five artworks for members to vote on.
• Members must attend the meeting in person to vote. Consequently, please only enter an artwork if you or a nominated proxy can bring the physical piece to the meeting. Failure to present the artwork at the meeting will result in forfeiture.
• All entries are eligible for the President’s Prize and will be featured on the 'Wall of Fame' at the Annual Summer Exhibition.

Originality and Criteria:

• Entries must be the artist's original work, reflecting unique creativity and personal expression.
• Pieces created in painting workshops are not eligible, as the composition/style are determined by the workshop leader.
• Artworks derived from photographs are eligible if the photo was taken by the artist; otherwise, the source image must be acknowledged.
• Any digital art elements must be identified.

• Attached image of the artwork
• Title, medium, and dimensions
• Specification of whether the entry is for the Monthly Competition or the Themed Competition
