Landscapes are a popular subject. This Oil Painting workshop will give clear guidance on how to get the most out of your painting. We will look closely at Composition, Value & Colour, Creating a style and Key focal points.
The morning will be spent painting two simple landscape studies. Working from photo’s provided by the tutor, the above elements will be explored and demonstrated.
The afternoon will be spent painting your own landscape. Working from your reference material, you can employ the ideas and techniques that were practised in the morning.
The workshop is at Shottery Memorial Hall studio, CV37 9BL and will last from 10am until 4pm. Refreshments are available but please bring your own lunch and mug.
